The title of this grade two composition is a word in Quichua that refers to a path traveled on foot. The interrelation of the strings throughout this trip is like a great line that crosses through its passages from beginning to end, and also gives them a purpose and a personality of their own to the set of sonorities composed around a particular musical language.
