Pianist Kimberly Davis has dedicated her career to the performance and promotion of works by Latin American composers, particularly Puerto Rican composers. She has performed concerts throughout Puerto Rico, Cuba, Ecuador, and the United States. Her most recent album, “La Ondina: Una Colección de Música Puertorriqueña para Piano” features a program of all Puerto Rican composers. She also promotes new music on her YouTube channel “Kimberly Piano” through a series of performances and interviews. Kimberly has served on the faculty of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico and recently moved to Chicago to further her performance career in the United States. She holds a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an artist diploma from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, and a master’s degree in piano performance from Kent State University.
And here, she's playing Ernesto Lecuona’s “La comparsa.”
