Summary Extended Description   CMP 1174 Solo for oboe with piano accompaniment. Grade 4+. Approx. duration: five and a half minutes. Set consists of a piano score and one part. The work begins immersed in an insomniac early-morning environment, in which thoughts, memories, ideas and sensations begin to take shape together to form a dialogue with each other. Then in the second part, all of that seems to expand into a kind of unexpected ecstatic abduction, and insomnia suddenly transforms into an astral journey of the soul, in which consciousness leaves the body and flies over the morning that unfolds.
