Summary Extended Description   CMP 1598 Wind quintet for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon. Grade 4. Approx. duration: 13 minutes. Set includes a score and five parts. “Cuatro piezas para insectos” (Four Pieces for Insects) takes its name from the whim of creating a similar musical idea for the four animals represented in each of its four movements (ants, cicadas, chryalises and bees). This does not mean that this is strictly programmatic music; rather, these particular creatures served only as the starting point of musical inspiration.
