Summary Extended Description   CMP 1119 Duet for clarinet (doubles bass clarinet) and guitar. Grade 6. Approx. duration: six minutes. Set consists of two performance scores. Composed in 2012, the intention of this three-movement work is to not rely on any external factor. The abstract character is manifested as well by the selection of the work’s title, which is simply an alternative ordering of the last three letters of the alphabet. The unconventional use of “scordaturas” in the guitar is due to a decontextualization of the characteristic sonority of that instrument.
